Fraserburgh Vintage Car Rally (FVCR) - Sunday June 7th

The Fraserburgh Vintage Car Rally (FVCR) is an annual community event held in Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire, celebrating classic and vintage vehicles of all kinds — from cars and motorbikes to tractors and commercial vehicles. Organised by local volunteers, the rally has become a highlight of the town’s calendar, drawing thousands of visitors each year.

It features:

  • Displays of vintage and classic vehicles
  • Family-friendly entertainment
  • Trade and craft stalls
  • Food vendors
  • Children’s activities
  • Live music and performances

All proceeds from the event go directly to local charities, community groups, and good causes, reinforcing its role as a key fundraising event for the area.
FVCR is a celebration of heritage, community spirit, and local generosity — with something for everyone, young and old alike.

Unfortunately, this years event clashed with the Shetland Classic Motor Show and so only a handful of members were able to attend; Social Secretary Anita reported that the group were blessed with dry weather which made the day more pleasant for all.

We had our own designated MG stand and were joined by a couple from Tain in their MGB roadster. As usual lovely fly cup and dinner was included in our ticket.

Thanks also to Anita for the pictures below.
