Buckie Classic Car Show

The Organisers of the Buckie Classic Car Show seem to have an uncanny knack of being able to pick a weekend of glorious weather for their event, and this year was no exception with a fine and warm sunny day in store for the large number of entrants and the crowds who visited.

9 club members registered for the event, which was held at the fantastic Linzee Gordon Park, Buckie on 28th August. Entries had filled up very quickly and the event was very soon oversubscribed, but luckily, we managed to get a couple of late entries accepted by the fantastic organising committee.  We all met in the nearby Tesco car park and as requested, we arrived in convoy and set up our Club stand.

This Year the Organisers did a Club Stand Show & Shine and awarded rosettes and certificates to cars on every Club Stand; Lewis Mackland, Mike Robinson, Mike Park and Martyn Jeffery all came away with silverware, rosettes and certificates as a reward for all their hard work in polishing their cars to perfection!

This is a fantastic show and well worth a visit, even if you don't take a car along.  We'll be there again next year with a Club stand so keep an eye out for the date and make sure you register early to avoid disappointment. Highly recommended, see you there next year!

Thanks again to Lewis for the majority of the photos.
