AGM - 8th February

Despite the blizzard which hit the region early evening shortly before the AGM, 19 members braved the elements to attend. As previously notified, Chairman Roger Key stood down as Chairman and the members thanked him for his hard work in support of the Club over the previous decade.   

Following a short debate, Carl Everard was proposed as the new Chairman which was unanimously accepted.

The committee proposed 2 new posts to reduce the current workload on the other committee members, and after some discussion, Anita Kreft was voted into the new and very important role of Social Secretary with responsibility for organising the club's social calendar. 

The second newly created role of events co-ordinator with responsibility for being the focal point and overseeing all the events where we will have a club presence unfortunately attracted no volunteers; it was therefore suggested that perhaps members could each volunteer to co-ordinate just one event per season,  so this may be introduced on trial basis later in the year.
